TORONTO’S MULTICULTURAL RADIO STATION

CHTO radio originates back in 1966 when Maniatakos family has operated a closed audio service circuit in Toronto under the name of CHCR-FM. Since then many things happened . Some of them include that the service was made available through cable Television signal, the name was changed to CHTO , the equipment was renewed for extended coverage and . . . the list goes on . The reformed radio station apart from cable TV can also be found in the respective internet stream as well as at the 1690 KHz of the AM band and is located in the Greek-town of Toronto under the supervision and management of John Maniatakos. Programming is primarily Greek , however shows from other language and cultures are accommodated as well.
